Data Protection to/in cloud

As cloud gained popularity there was a talk going around that once you are in the cloud, you can forget about data protection. This is a fallacy and a naïve approach. Most large Hyper Scale cloud vendors are quick to admit that some of the earliest use cases for cloud adoption was in fact Data Protection; Archival and DR.
